Another theory put to rest. Virus was suppose to die when outside temps hit 60. South should have been safe.

it seems to have a long enough incubation period that we're still seeing results from before plus the back up in testing that wasn't done is starting to get done.

hope things will settle down once people can get outside more and away more from each other. being cooped up inside just isn't good, gotta move and get some fresh air and sunshine.

I can mail you a tube of toothpaste, Major. Just make sure no drug dog sniffs out my package!

Years ago when I had a construction crew working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico my inspector ran out of shampoo and asked me to send him some out. He said which brand did not matter. I sent him the sweetest, fruitiest, smelliest stuff I could find, I think it was strawberry-kiwi. John politely thanked me and never mentioned it again.

I did what I could to make sure John always had a job, whether in an onshore fabrication yard or on an offshore construction/hookup job. He was good. He took care of me and I tried to take care of him. Thanks for bringing back a good memory Rhodie.

I was in Walmart in the garden department and there were a few lettuce, kale, and some Rosemary plants sitting out, very few, but not in the big area. The big plastic wall was shut and I asked were there a bunch of plants in there, thinking maybe still cool or something and she said no. The trucks cannot deliver the plants because have to deliver food.

And I looked for some 1/8 or 1/4 inch elastic and all sold out. I got an email from Joann's with a video how to make face masks. I have a lot of cotton fabric, but not elastic, so I called Joann's and they said all sold out. Everybody is coming in to get supplies to make the face masks. Also, still no toilet paper in Walmart.

A friend of mine texted me from Costco asking if I wanted anything. Wanted frozen chicken but of course that was gone. So I jokingly asked for a roasted chicken. Got some coffee for me and my daughter and a roasted chicken! He said they were allowing only 1 per family so he gave/sold us theirs since they had plenty of chicken at home. I thought that was nice. I should have asked for beans but didn't think of it.

My daughter had gone but turned around when she saw the line going around the building. She had worked the night before and was tired and needed to get to sleep. I found out they have senior hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 8-9 and offered to go for her. But she doesn't want us out at stores. If I don't go there I will go to Safeway. They too have senior hours on same days but from 7-9. I just hope they are stocked. There haven't been any beans for 2 weeks now.
