doesn't sound bad to me... seal up the house. otherwise it eats some strawberry roots among a few other plants. um, none of that a big deal to me.

i do see them around in the yard/gardens. i've yet to see them in any numbers which mean i'd be alarmed.

can say that it's not that or the asian lady beetle, but also can't say what it is other than likely harmless.

Maybe not an Asian lady beetle, but it sure has the shape and the smooth glossy wing covers.... it's kind of big though.

yes, too big and wrong front shape. asian lady beetles look like our native lady beetles.

i really like the maroon/burgundy color of this beetle.

ah, there are giant lady beetles, but the shape is different to me than compared to this beetle:
