He moved I don't have new address. Cat I get $50 a day his bill is over $2,000 not counting money not paid on last 4 bills. I don't care about money, I have good homes that want him. They are not going to wait forever to get dog. Trying to track down his adult daugher.

@Nyboy would it be possible to let the family that wants this dog "foster" him till this all gets straightened out. of course it would be with the understanding that things could go wrong for them but they might be willing to take the chance. good luck

I'm pretty sure the post office forwards mail for 6 months after a person moves, if a forwarding address is given to the post office.
If he is avoiding you, he is probably avoiding a lot of other creditors, too.
He may have skipped the county, but many attorneys aren't licensed to practice in any but their own state, so perhaps he didn't skip the state. Things like this get my dander up; I would go to extra lengths to track the guy down. Just to hand him a big fat bill, if nothing else.

I think the letter would have to be certified for ay legal weight But contacting the office seems like a great idea. I know you don't care about the money NYB but that may be the leverage you need to secure the dog. $50.00 a day. Fantastic for you!!!! Another testament that you are the best around. If he has abandoned his dog, moved, not responding. I am going to guess he has had financial problems lawyer or not. What a big jerk.

His office was in his apartment, because of sky high rents here, very common. My lawyer who is also in White Plains talked to him ( think he blocked my number) . Told him I have a good home lined up. Owner swore to my lawyer he would call me by closing yesterday. He never did. Can't just foster out the dog my business would be at risk. Was going to have owner and new home meet at kennel Monday. New home would adpot from owner leaving me out. Don't think thats going to happen now.
