Those pies with that recipe were made in Mom's kitchen. I remember being given the job of going out to the wood pile and busting up one of Journey's Pink Banana squash so that it could be used in place of what was in the can.
Before the internet, I had to buy a can of pumpkin each year to get the recipe . . . Finally, I copied it onto paper and have the copy in the recipe folder. But now, anyone can get it online!
