What is it that counts as bearded on a chicken? There are some names of their decorations I only have an idea of.

My landlord is awesome. He heard it through the grape vine that I had chickens and he called to say he would drop off a wooden frame with chicken wire on it and I could use it however I wanted. I came home to this massive thing in my yard. Each square has chicken wire on all sides so I had to cut some of the chicken wire off of it to make it just a hollow tube. The chickens are sticking close to the coop. They are not keen on being out in the open.

This set up is completely temporary. The chicks are still not full feathered and are only outside when I am at home and it is nice out.

I don't. They are still not fully feathered so they only go outside when the weather is nice and i am home to keep an eye on them. There is chicken wire that loops around the open looking corner between the run and the door so they can't get out and nothing can get in.

Oh, I get it. They don't live in the coop yet. You move them out there and bring them back in. Very cool!
