Much, much learning needs to happen before you get bees, NY, or you will lose a lot of money and some good bees along the way, maybe even kill some good bees.

This is my favorite beekeeper, as he favors a more natural approach and has the hive health certificates posted to his site to show how that's all working out since he started moving in that direction. He also has a few books that can get you started, as well as much, much information on his site and it's super easy to navigate....

Thanks Rich that makes sense . As much as I want bees going to wait. I kind of had it in back of my head if I didn't want honey the bees would take care of themselves.
