Mary, no guessing involved but I'll let others have that pleasure. No Speckled Sussex? I know you like them.
No, sadly the person I got them from didn't have one. She also didn't have a cream ameraucana. She did have one in her personal flock though. I had never seen one that color and it was beautiful. That would have been my first choice for a 4th chicken with the speckle being next.Mary, no guessing involved but I'll let others have that pleasure. No Speckled Sussex? I know you like them.
Light Brahma is on my wish list for spring. What beauties.I'll guess Light Brahma, Buff Orpington, and Rhode Island Red. Very nice.
I don't know. This is my first time with a Light Brahma. Even if she's not her beauty and poop make up for it.Are Brahmas good layers? Pretty fuzzybutts!!
I think only 1 is and I can't tell which one. My Buff has the red comb and squats. My Rhode I. also has a very red comb. The Brahma's comb is so small that it's hard to tell. I haven't caught it in the act yet and they are laying on the dirt floor! Don't they know where the nest box is? Geez not that hard to figure out in their very tiny mansion. They are pretty and look healthy! Are they laying yet?
