I have been seeing bees and ants, and a ladybug landed on DD at Lowes and we put it on Evelyn and she road around in the cart with a ladybug crawling all over here and finally flew away. lol
If we put a "lady bug" on a child here, chances are that it would bite. Our lady bug population has been almost completely taken over by the more aggressive 18-spot Asian beetle, which often bites if it lands on bare skin - and that bite is painful. References describe it as a "mild" bite, to me it feels similar to a deer fly bite. On the bright side though, those Asian beetles & their larvae are voracious aphid eaters.

yes, they have done similar here. once in a while i still do find the other milder ones but most of them are the others.
