Thank you Tankshill, we have been here almost five hears now and it is coming together...

I think 2009 is going to be a good gardening year here.

I've gotten a lot of the infrastructure in place and established now, and the chicken coop is 95% complete, which was a lot of work...whew!

So I am going to concentrate on crops that have primarily been successful, with limited experimentation.

That way, I hope I can grow enough not only for my family, but an abundant yield to give away to those who are in need.

Share the harvest.

Hey Beav....hubby built me a new coop this summer, so one of my projects for spring is to landscape around it. I'm going shabby-chic!! With some well placed cherry tomato plants, and various other edibles for the chicks treats!!!

Are you planing a project around the coop?

I would like to do a little landscaping around the crop, perhaps a bit of the edible kind that the chickens could snack on too..

Fabulous! Something a little bit wrong about seeing all that green and flowers. We have been having -15 below zero weather. I do appreciate seeing in and being hopeful for spring!:bow
