Hi, I live in rural NV, halfway between Reno and Las Vegas. I live at 6,000+ feet elevation and have a garden spot both at my apartment and at a friend's country home.
Gardening on Other People's Property. Good for you !
It isn't always easy. It takes valuing the relationship and trying.

Hi and welcome bjworkman!
A 6000' elevation must give you a few challenges with early and late frosts. Looking forward to hearing about your garden adventures.
We have a new neighbor in our neighborhood that just moved here from rural Nevada, they were also at 6000 feet growing hay.
