New Old Truck work started

Truck was picked up today, was told about 2 months, so I figure I will get back 3 to 4 months. DSCF0159.JPG DSCF0153.JPG

talked with my dad yesterday during our cookout and happen to mention your project truck to him. dad was all interested since he used to own a '55 Dodge truck just before i was born. guess he used his for hauling wood when he would go out and cut some from a friend's property back in the mid 70's. i didn't think to ask him if it was the C-3 or one of their other models from the same year. he mentioned something i thought odd and you might know if your truck would have this same setup. he said he kept 2 different sized batteries in it. sounded like he used a 12 volt to turn the engine over and another to run the lights and any accessories.

Chickie I heard some trucks where 6 volt, what I thought odd battery goes in a hole on floor under drivers side. I always thought they went next to engine.
