No it's a opossum. He was injured so he ended up passing away. The good thing is that it wasn't a female with babies.

My husband had gone to bed for the night in Stockton CA and got woke up by this...

Sadly we have a lot of that in my area too. My son and my daughter had their car windows smashed last year. My daughter had it happen to her while she was out hiking and my son had it happen in town. Whoever did it stole things out of the cars too.

It's so frustrating especially when my husband called the police and they told him that since he didn't have a plate number they couldn't do anything about it. There was another truck in front of my husband and he took off so he thinks they did it to him too. So frustrating.Sadly we have a lot of that in my area too.
