Nice chicks. I know they are in good hands and will be in good hands. A lot of people are getting chicks the backyard gardeners raised chickens for better control from bird flu and access to those coveted eggs .
Keeping us informed on all your many different projects has been inspiring and encouraging to see. 👍
Thank you. I was with my oldest daughter yesterday and a lady was talking about gardening but she hasn't had any luck with her garden so I told her tons of information on how she could have a good garden and actually get some food from it. She was very happy with the information and ideas.

I'm sitting here listening to the ducklings. Their little chirps are very beautiful and pleasant to hear. It's almost making me feel like I could just take a nap.

We feed some ducks around here and they are super cute! They quack loudly when we forget to serve their snacks! They make funny smacking noises while they are waiting to be served! 😂

Sometimes it sounds like they are splashing in their waterer. It's just such a peaceful sound.

I cleaned the little cage for the ducklings. I locked up the girls and let Mister out to free range for a bit. I'm going to try to set up the wire that I had to remove from the coop/run. I will keep the girls locked up in there and then Mister will be in a coop close by in order to try to integrate them all. Peppa is probably going to be rehomed because I don't want her going broody due to her bad attitude.

Well the update on locking up the girls for integration with Mister will not be happening. I locked up the girls and let him out but I had to come inside and check on dinner and the dog outside killed him. I told my husband that I was ready to put a bullet in my 22 and put it in her brain. I'm also mad at myself for not being outside with him but it's really annoying and frustrating to know that my chickens have to be locked up all the time because she's a POS.
