Well, they are good! And, it is surprising, Nelson.

However, they were a bit salty for me . . .

Maybe they just need to be processed a little differently to not be so salty.

my first broccoli with kale, swiss chard, and cabbage leaves. sauted with a little olive oil & some mushrooms thrown in. it was good. hubby of course wouldn't dream of touching it, so i'll have some more tomorrow.

Last night - we had flowering bok choy & maruba santoh!

I want to tell you that I was really surprised at how those plants survived the winter! Last year, and usually, a few bok choy plants are left here & there and some of them come thru the winter. They are always scarred so as to be totally useless. Some continue on a downhill path and die during the spring. That's how badly damaged but many of the plants are dead by January, anyway.

This year, they looked pretty good! And, there were plenty of them so when they flowered -- we ate them ! Nice & tender . . .
