With a business and 2 homes to take care of it is easy for things to fall though the cracks. One of ways to help is putting a lot of bills on auto pay, every month bill is automatically paid from my checking account. ADT is installing cameras at country home, when I asked about price was shocked when told my bill would go down $2 . At some point for some unknown reason my ADT bill doubled and I never caught it. I am so angry that security company robbed me. I have no one to blame but my self for not being more careful going over bank statements. If you can not trust your security company who can you trust

Did you point that out to them? They should agree to credit your account. Do not let them slide by.

I hope you can get it resolved. My husband checks our bank account online every morning before he goes to work. He also checks our phone bill line by line. He has found discrepancies on both from time to time. They are always resolved in our favor.

I'm guilty of the same thing. I've got a BUNCH of things on autopay. Sometimes I get to busy with the details of life, as long as nothing gets cut off, I'd never notice if they got paid or not - or how much.
It drives my Dad nuts. He lives next door and is always asking me things like "Got my real estate tax bill. Did you get yours yet?" And I say, "I don't know Dad, the mortgage company pays it." He goes purple.

My oldest friend watches every penny. Once her bank statement showed 2 cents MORE then her checkbook. She went to bank and said show me where this 2 cents came from. Her husbands paycheck was direct deposit for some reason was 2cents more 1 week.
