Normal or Diseased Kiefer Pear ?

While I have a whole shelf of fruit tree sprays, I never had time to spray. Some creature who stripped most of my pear trees of fruit left this tree alone. Young ,unsprayed, covered in fruit,all pears have brown spots. Are brown spots a disease ? Is that why beast didn't take?

They call that russetting. It's normal for certain types of pears. Look otherwise fine to me. Enjoy!
