My bad side is thinking about sneaking to their place and pouring vinegar on their garden. Stop me, please!

That is interesting that they don't have too much trouble. Good, fertile soil...the plants being lush and healthy...they'll stand up to more. I do rotate mine, but I rotate everything, mostly because of the soil nutrients as some things feed heavier than others. Doesn't matter where I put them, the bugs and the diseases will find them anyway. We have hot, humid, often wet summers here, so that probably doesn't help.
