...I keep asking Ruthy if she’d like to go on a plow date with me, she’s not as enthusiastic about all that as i am.

perhaps warming up the cab first and shovelling the path and scattering some rose petals might help? just don't tell her it is candle lit dinner and use a lighter and can of sardines... good luck... :)

Well, we got another ft of snow last night and now today it’s turned off brilliant, making the “dig out” quite nice! Once i got the truck dug out. The pano is from the top of the garden.

This morning; before all the plowing i had an epiphany, resulting in this “horseshoe head” that screws onto my canoe pole giving me a 13 ft. Reach when trying to relieve some of the tree’s of they’re load!

I also dug out this last kale plant, cut it off and brought it up to the house. At 1 big leaf a day; there’s another month’s worth of lunches before i have to start eating the frozen stuff. *On edit- i guess it’s All frozen, just some of it’s not still outside! It amazes us how long Kale keeps like this.

I remember a small yellow datsun truck Dad owned getting dug out one spring at the airport in Bethel. There was really high drift on it. I saw Anchorage had a snow emergency and thought to myself how is @Alasgun making do?

10,000 in the immediate area without power due to the 70 mph winds thru the day. We have been on generator since 1:00 this afternoon. With the cold and wind I gave the birds a new bone which made they’re day!

When they got together in the back yard a little sparing took place between the two Mom’s.

Initial looks can be decieving; these animals are 6 1/2 ft tall at the shoulder. Like @baymule walking up to one of her horses.
