Rodiola, here we go!
After some time spent looking this stuff over i’m going to give it a try. If the health benefits are 1/2 of what’s claimed; i’m interested. It’s easier for me to just attach the link and if you're interested you can read about it.
I picked up some of they’re product today from the P.O so i’ll have some sort of report shortly.
I spoke with Dr.Pettra the other day and did not leave with any apprehension. A friend of mine doe’s the plowing over at the State fairgrounds for these test projects and worked a piece for these folks a couple years ago. He gifted me a nice bag of seeds from that crop, that he acquired that fall.
Apparently we live in a perfect environment and those growing it seem to do pretty well. Long lead time though, kinda like planting Apples when your over 70!

Seems like a nice salad item, if not condensed nor manipulated. I heard from one source that nutmeg is poisonous and from another that more than your share of brazil nuts will make you sick. Moderation again rears its' monklike head, which is so inherently hard for my bohemian alter ego to accept in any form.

Another help for depression in our neck of the woods is using a happy light every morning. It gets pretty dark in the winters here and folks around the PNW love this little invention!

Well; at first blush i’m impressed. Drank my first tea this morning and noticed the effect of greater energy / focus within a half hour. Not buzzed, just a plesant kind of thing. Time will tell as we only intend to “indulge“ 2-3 times a week. How long before any of the other benefits might show up is anybodies guess, if ever?

I was in contact with a person growing it on a large scale who gave me a lot of helpful advice as to cultivation AND is someone who provides growers with starter plants each year. I’m down for 600 to be picked up the first of July!

With a nice weather week predicted; i scurried to the box store and picked up supplies for a couple raised beds. These replicate what i have in the garden, 3x12x 33 tall. It was a simple project that could be completed before spring and there by have one less thing on “the list”! Right now the boxes are on dunnage and will get scooted to they’re final resting place once i can see the ground again!

I’ll get my dirt mid May, which gives me plenty of time to get them loaded and the soil amended before the Rhodiola starts arrive later, in June! At the end of the day i’ll be into this project Almost 4K!😳

3 years from now there’ll be 4 of these, giving me enough capacity to successive plant. It’s all greek to me but we like the product so we’ll just jump in and learn something new!

Inside, we’re just doing our time in the barrel; waiting for spring. However, this year i had the foresight to start some cukes inside, which make winter a wee bit better. I’ll get a couple of these a week until i need the real estate for starts and whack the cukes around Feb 1st.

It’s an ugly mess for sure; BUT im still eating my own cukes from these 2 plants! These 3 will be ready in 3-4 days And still plenty of new flowers!

They get a big dollop of blackstrap molassas and a shot of “weed nutes”🙄 twice a week, during watering.

Am I to understand that you are growing cucumbers inside, in your house? That would be really amazing.
