Chicken wires probably the best advice at least more civilized than the “drive by shooting” I’d suggest!
All you gotta do is shoot the cat then run over to your neighbors and tell them “ you’re not gonna believe what just happened! I was just out back pulling weeds and enjoying your cat when these kids came around the corner with their tires squealing, which startled fi-fi and she ran. When she did the stuck their Uzi’s out the window and began shooting.”
Be sure to wipe a tear or two as you walk away and she’ll love you for trying to defend fi-fi!🫨

That's hilarious. I would love to be able to shoot the stupid cats but I have no aim even when I could see clearly. I'm about ready to invest in a bear trap and make sure those a@#holes don't come back to my yard. Crying over a cat just isn't in me. I almost cried like a baby after running over a snake but cats just don't bother my emotions.

Before you rag on the kitties, consider WHY they are there, which is catching mice.
MY wonderful kitties, who started patroling the yard across the street bc the owners never had garbage pickup and their bags in their garage attracted RATS, then the rats moved in under my chicken's coop. My cats, who had NO access to the chicken run, ERADICATED them...and the chickens ate the babies.
Buy chicken wire and cover your beds so the cats don't make them litter boxes.
THANK the good kitties this winter, when you have fewer mice make it inside.
DO NOT use Warfarin or D Con!! The poisoned mice will kill the cats!! 🥶
I have yet to see a cat around here that kills mice. I seen them kill lizards, birds and snakes but not mice. It could be the fact that 2 of the neighbors insist on feeding them which gives them an appetite suppression instead of letting them do what they are supposed to do. It really sucks too because I am always having to buy glue traps for the little f@#$ers. I hate cats but I would prefer a cat to a mouse.

Ladies, @ducks4you, @akroberts, this cat, mouse, rat, chicken thing has really led my last post; which was somewhat important, off in a ditch!
I would appreciate if if these sort of things went somewhere else? Immediately coming over here and hyjacking the thread is selfish. And yes i did participate in this but it was before i realized my content had just been polluted. We must have all been typing at the same time!

No hard feelings here, just hear what im saying.

I have a question about the electroculture method. I'm wondering if it would prevent cats from getting into my garden. One went into my newly filled metal bed and used it as a toilet. I hate cats. I'm trying to figure out a way to stop them from getting near my garden.
My daughter has to surround her Christmas tree with special shock pads to keep her cats from climbing up!
