onion advice!

if u have had a strange season like i have

check every now and then if the top of the onion has gone soft where the green stem starts

normally the onions fall over but on quarter of mine did

although some of the stems stayed green and did not fall over so i thought they had not matured
i had to burn a few rotten ones due to that cause

yer but i have read (after i posted this) that ur supose to bend the stems when they are a goood size so they die and u can let the onion stalk drie out in storage
