I live near the OH border, a few miles from the river. We must be neighbors. Usually whatever storms you guys get come on over to us next. Yeah, we definitely gotta hill that corn!

I am about 45 min. from Athens and 90 min. from Marietta.

Well, thanks all for the input. I think I'll just leave the onions alone. They seem to know what they are doing. I don't want to actually brag on how great my garden looks because of that section of Murphy's Law that follows me around like a shadow: "If you acknowledge it, it will go away." :/
