Garden Addicted
I talk to my plants too!!! Especially when they are not doing so well! I have a Meyer Lemon, a very young tree, going on it's second year. It is in the same garden as the little Apricot tree pictured above. I thought I killed it!! But... at the moment it is full of tiny flower buds!! I am so hoping it leafs out and begins to put out new branches!! My husband teases me, I seem to have killed three citrus trees a few years ago. I now have three citrus trees growing from seed!!
I didn't bother to label them, since I didn't expect them to really sprout!!
They are maybe, lemon, grapefruit, lime??? And who knows when or if they will produce any fruit... Two of them are looking very healthy, one is not doing so well. I could kick myself, a few weeks ago at one of the garden centers they had tiny citrus for $5.00 each!! Of course they are all gone now.
