ok, so they may not be 'owned' by Monsanto. but they still purchase seeds from a supplier that is Monsanto owned and that is just not something i want to contribute my money to. i still have horrible luck with germination of Burpee seeds out of most companies i've bought over the years.

I have to get off my butt and order! Ugh. I just start going though the catalogs and get like a little kid with candy. "I want that and that and that!" lol

Stupid question.. I've bought mostly Burpee seeds in the past and most of them germinate just fine but some don't (perhaps 10% germinate -- don't recall what off the top of my head).. Any particular reason so many of you like Baker Creek for Seeds? Just curious.. Thx!
Baker Creek sell heirloom seeds and have a great variety of kinds...
