I haven't been able to do anything in the garden. Between the chickens needing the area completely rebuilt, being sick and the youngest daughter moving back in, not to mention the cold and wind. I'm just really struggling with just getting out of bed in the morning.

My prayers are going out to everyone in the Los Angeles area and surrounding areas. The wildfires are out of control down there. I hope everyone stays safe.

78mph wind gusts

The fire chief said that new fires would start 2 or 3 miles from the first blaze. Often, and with the population density, this was from one building to another.

No aerial response could be attempted with winds like that!

I was watching some of the news on YouTube with my oldest grandson and he finally had to change it because neither one of us could continue watching. So sad to see these horrific things happening.

I'm ready for my dirt therapy. This cold air and wind just needs to go away. I'm getting so many headaches from being inside so much. I still have whatever started on Christmas morning so yeah it's time for dirt therapy.

I was hoping to dig out all of the potato seeds from last year and NO, I found a little area with a few potato plants coming up so now I have to dig them out and put them in a raised bed or a pot. I will try to post some pictures later today or tomorrow
