It will take me a long time to get to perennial and annual planting. I grow one vegetable, only. Committing to it feels forever away. Landscaping first, and today, future tripping.
Your beds look *great* - nice to have your girls as co-workers 😉
Thank you. I'm happy to have them. I hope that you can one day take a step inside the garden world. I love knowing that all I have to do is walk out to the garden and start snacking, AKA (grazing), and I don't really need to eat huge meals that make me feel bloated from too much food. Everything also tastes better from the garden vs the store.

If you don't mind me asking can you tell me what vegetable you grow?

Had to put some stuff around the stairstep bed because Athena got into it and dug some of the soil out. My husband was trying to burn the wood on the big pallet bed but stopped before he caught it on fire due to the shredded paper.

Found a patch of potatoes that I didn't get dug up in the fall so I planted them in the big pallet bed and then went ahead and planted the rest of the potato seeds.
I moved into a house one spring that had a garden space in the backyard. As I was turning the soil I found some Yukon gold potatoes! I was so excited because this was an unexpected surprise! There also was a small rosemary bush in the yard, so I ended up making rosemary potatoes to celebrate!
