I miss @Ridgerunner . He continues to stop by TEG in the bean thread every now and then.

The cold & snowy weather here in 2019 was record or near-record during the final days of February and 1st days of March. I just noticed that we had a record of -1°F (-18°C) on the 1st of March and 18" of snow cover locally. I looked back at the TEG weather reporting for 2019.

Ridge' had just moved to a new home in the South and would move again soon after. The 2nd move was probably disappointing to him because he had just set up a nice backyard garden of raised beds and posted a picture in the weather thread. Here is the picture:

I don't think I could have moved with a backyard like that but sometimes we have to do what we don't want to.

On the stairstep bed I'm putting some decorative glass in it. There's some small areas that I can put it into and it should keep the slugs and snails out of the bed so I won't have a pest issue. I need to figure out a way to get some around the other beds so that they will be safe from the nasty buggers.

I noticed that a 5th zucchini seed has sprouted. I just really hope that it's zucchini and not yellow squash. I didn't get any zucchini last year only yellow squash. I know a lady that told me that she will buy zucchini from me. She said that because it's organic she's going to buy them for 5$ per zucchini.

Just go get some seeds, so that you are sure. Pretty good deal! :hugs
I planted 3 packs of seeds and still didn't get any zucchini. I'm wondering if people are just forgetting what they're doing or don't pay attention to what they're doing and just start adding seeds to packages without making sure they are putting in the right seeds.
