Our weed of the season...

It seems that crabgrass is the weed de jour for me. I dig and pull more of it than everything else combined.

Crab grass is an always. I don't even get excited about it. I just know it's going to be there-just like cavities when you go see a dentist....

My most proliferate weed is volunteer tomatoes....they are simply everywhere. In all stages of growth and in all areas of the garden. Second to that is the crab grass. A light shuffle with the hoe takes them both out of the soil/chips, but they are pretty fast and persistent. I can hoe one day and go back out the next and a fully grown set is standing there waiting on me.

Just got to stay on top of them is all. We'll see how that all goes.
