out of control clotheslines!

I stopped using the dryer in 2005. I wasn't earning enough income to even pay for using one. The place I was living didn't allow outside clotheslines nor gardens.

So I managed to find or buy some of those indoor drying racks, and used those, along with hanging things for the shower curtain rods.

Now, I am once again where I can have outside clotheslines AND a huge garden...or 10.

Yeah, but one of the benefits of line dried towels is the convenience. You don't even have to take them off the rack, you just walk by and they suck the water off you!

Smart Red, I hang undies in the bathroom to dry, I'm so fussy about that. It backfired on me once though, when my nosy MIL asked me if I don't wear any, because she never sees them on the line!

Something along those lines, yes But it was worth it for the look on her face, which was priceless. But hey, she kept her nose out of my washing for about a month after that.

I'm still laughing remembering that incident. You know, sometimes a little devil comes and whispers in your ear... My MIL brought out that little devil in me
