I enjoyed seeing Art Wolfe on PBS yesterday so I thought I'd find a few minutes of his show on YouTube, this morning. I clicked autoplay and put another in the queue. Then, this came on after Mr Wolfe:

I nearly picked a book on landscaping off the library shelves the other day. This would be atypical behavior.

In my own "landscaping," I subscribe to the cottage garden model. Yes, I have a personal history notion that the requirement is that most plants flower and most plants are taller than a three year old.

The Smithsonian looks at landscapes ... such an unmatchable grand scale. Let me think instead on their evocative art in nature. Quirky?
