I have used nothing but Oasis horticubes for years, as it is almost impossible to over water if you use them correctly. They contain no nutrients and are also pH inert, the only nutrients the seedlings get are the ones I give them. I have never had a seedling damp off in horticubes. Here is some propaganda right from their site:

"This specially-engineered lower density, higher drainage foam has a unique cell structure a lot like a plant's own, making it perfect for hydroponic seed germination of vegetables and herbs. High-drainage design helps maintain an ideal air/water balance, draining excess water from the base of the seed, even with heavy watering. Better drainage also keeps the top of the media drier, minimizing algae growth. Its lower density offers minimal resistance for fragile embryonic roots and allows for easier growth after roots are more developed."

Group A & D has shown no sign of life.

Group C
Now has 7 sprouts.

Very little change. Considering moving them into seedling bay and calling this

Group B has sprouted 4 out of the 6 seeds, but is growing at a very slow rate. Took this pic this morning.
