Mine would have beautiful sunny days and the rain would do the watering at night. And lots of flowers.
And a nice comfy place where I can sit and watch him work...thistlebloom said:Oh and I forgot, my ideal garden would have to have the ideal gardener!
LOL, seedcorn. Wonder what kind of fence keeps the spouse out? My ideal garden wouldn't have grass from the lawn mower blown into it to seed new weeds and burn the leaves of my tender plants. And wife can't follow me out there pointing out things I need to do! If she doesn't like my garden, go plant her own......
I really can't complain about my garden soil. It is built on 50 years of pig pasture and 40 years of grasses left to themselves - at least 9 feet deep over an alluvial deposit of sand. I have all the chicken litter and rabbit pooh that I need. I can't find a rock wherever I dig. While not right beside the kitchen (that's shade) it is just past my clothes line and close to the garden shed.thistlebloom said:Oh and I forgot, my ideal garden would have to have the ideal gardener!
