I think this is a good Idea... we are building a new coop and it needs a quilt on the side...my DH will think I am crazy...

Barn quilts are popping up all over these parts. :D Our library even had a day for people to come and make there own. I think they where small ones. Maybe 2 foot square. They really do not have to be expensive. Tape out your designs and paint with any outdoor/house paint. Have Fun.

I grew up in Ohio... I knew it was a big thing back home... but I didn't realize other people had started doing it too!

A couple years ago I put up a post around here somewhere, or maybe it was another site with lots of pictures of barn quilts. I was thinking of doing it for my chicken coop as well but never got around to it. That's ok though, its been so crazy busy around here I added 2 more coops to that one and probably another in the works! :lol:

These would DEFINITELY be cool to do!

The look amazing!! We had a large wooden barn close to our place that had one, along with a mural of the county. It was always so gorgeous!
