My pea's flowers are gone :( But there's little tiny pods in their places... I'm so excited!

Ooooo, pretty! It seems a reasonable trade-off to me! :)

Start practicing now saying: I will let some get from the garden to the kitchen, and the kitchen into the pot.... It never worked for me, but it's worth a try anyway! :D

Congratulations! :coolsun

That's absolutely wonderful. It's so cool to see plants as they progress and start to pay off from all the hard work you've put into them.

Congrats.

Tutter is right, start practicing restraint now.

Are you guys actually eating the pods themselves on your way to the kitchen? I've been partial to tomatoes that way, but never peas.

I'm in the same boat as Shellie, I'm finally getting something to munch on from the garden. My pods are up to 3 inches long. And yes Shellie, it is exciting.

My 7 year old son likes to take pea pods to school for his snack. He loves them raw like that.
He is the reason why I planted some in the garden.I hope they grow well for him.

Absolutely! Don't worry, we'll make a convert of you the first morning you pick sweet peas after this. Just open them (depending on variety) and eat one. Just one little green pea.....what can it hurt? :D

I hear that enabler tone you've got there Tut... If I do that, my peas might not make it into the house at all. There's only a good sturdy 8 plants out there.
