Pellets in wood stove?

This may be a dumb question, but does it smell like popcorn or cornbread outside when you're burner is in use?

I never noticed much smell. Well contained except when it would back up and smolder/smoke! At the vent a little like popcorn maybe. IF you are ever near an elevator/co-op when they are drying corn, it had that kind of smell.

Interesting. I love the outdoor fragrance of certain firewoods in the winter, so I was imagining what corn would smell like.

We had a corn burner. It was in the kitchen at the time of the house fire.

NO the fire source was never determined. But the corn burner was not running. Early Oct and warm out.
