I bought 17 plants. Little on small side. Little cold, wet weather and they struggled. Then to top it off, hen flew out of pen and ate 7 of them and damaged the others. Tried to buy replacements today. No luck. I had some seeds, planted them today, think they will bear this year?

Have a good place for plants like that indoors this winter, Seedcorn?

Peppers are perennials. In Southeast Asia, some will grow into bushes.

They aren't really indoor plants, needing lots of sunlight and probably susceptible to evil bugs that may take advantage of them :/.

I have mine in the window still. they take forever to grow! I was told the hotter the peppers takes longer to grow. I kept it inside because its been very windy. and afraid to lose them !

Everyone is sold out of green peppers that I can find but I did find 6 "gypsy" peppers today. Before I couldn't find them at all except for individuals that were priced out of site for me. So maybe the hen did me some favors as I normally would have not been looking and especially where I found them at. $1.59 for 6 plants was a find.......

So if the seeds I planted come up, I'll transplant them to see if they make it.

Seedcorn, Gypsy peppers is a favorite of mine. They have been more dependable than regular bell peppers. They look like a hot pepper, but are not, and turn beautiful orange to red if left on the plant.
