TillinWithMyPeeps,
Thanks so much for the persimmon seeds. :hugs
I found the following sites--
http://local.floridata.com/American_Persimmon_Columbus_OH-r1189805-Columbus_OH.html

So, it sounds like I need to do the following to grow them:
(1) place them in the frig to over winter.
(2) Plant and wait 6 to 8 weeks at 70 to 85 degrees for germination.
(3) Plants are both male and female, and it's best to plant seedlings close together for pollination
Is this right? :/

I'm looking forward to planting a tree that is native. :celebrate
How much do they grow in a year? Just curious...

TillinWithMyPeeps:

The seeds arrived today. Thanks a bunch! I look forward to planting them. My DH would probably like them all planted around his tree stand. :D

Let me know if you would like me to send you something in exchange... I have sweet anise, ornamental hot peppers, cypress vine and angel trumpets, as well as several more run of the mill garden veggies if you like. PM me and let me know!
