In all honesty, I think your wisest course of action would be to dispatch the pheasants and ship them here. I'll even be helpful and pay for half the shipping.. now I just gotta talk my son into letting me have his smoker ...

Ill even do you one better. Ill drive out with my dog and we'll handle "the problem" just fine. He flushes them and Ill put them in the bag. Then we'll go put them on the smoker. With roasted red skin potatoes out of the garden, and a side of grilled mushrooms, onion, zucchini, and summer squash you've never eaten better. For dessert how about a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream drizzled with blueberry syrup and a handful or 2 of fresh picked blueberries.

This conversation reminds me of the old "Hee Haw" show when the cast yells "What's for supper, Grandpa?" and he rattles off a bunch of country food that makes your mouth water just by listening. :) Does anybody remember Hee Haw? Maybe Hoodat? Steve? ???

Heeee Hawww! Oh yes, a Saturday night show at Nana and Gramps house when we were little. Loved it!

Jared and petey, may I please have in invite to the bbq? I will do dishes! Pheasants are both beautiful and tasty. It has been said that a male Pheasant has every color created within his feathers and I believe it. Their breast is so colorful.

I hope these beautiful birds move on and leave your garden alone HotPepperQueen!

I'm very tempted to host this TEG BBQ! Sounds like a fun time....and a productive one getting rid of my problem  So far the cd/pop can combo has been working!

We used to shoot them with a 22 out of the kitchen window . . .

They'd be in the field but close enuf to the house you could hear them singing.
