I always thought I'd like to explore the old cemeteries and churches in the New England area first chance I had to travel. So much early American history in the New England states.

Dad was buried in the military section of our cemetery. Mom was in the Waves and so was able to reserve the adjoining plot. Was she ever angry when she saw another woman buried on Dad's other side. No listing of her being in the service, just that she was a beloved Grandmother.

I can understand the wife and consort causing wagging tongues, but I could never understand getting upset because Dad's ashes were placed within 3 feet of another woman.

Jackb, that is one beautiful picture. One of my favorite things is seeing paths. They always seem so peaceful to me. Though that is a road, I can pretend that it's a giant path. ;)
