All I know is that I planted it 8 years ago and it spreads like wild fire. Every year I have to get rid of a lot of it and confine it to where I want it to grow.I just looked it up and they aren't the same. But those leaves are very similar to Sweet Cicely seedlings
Sweet Annie is Artemesia annua, and S. Cicely is Myrrhis oderata.
When it gets about two foot tall we will cut a bundle, tie it up and then hang it in the house somewhere and it smells really nice.I have Sweet Cicely, it reseeds also, but only very modestly. The bruised leaves smell like black licorice.

Yes. I have to wait until mine goes to seed before I will have any. It has been self seeding for 8 years. Funny thing is I planted the original seeds on the north west side of the house and it is now growing on the south east side of the house.Want to trade seeds?
