Pretty flower indeed!. Powder puff comes in purple, pink, white, and perhaps in other colors. I hear it is hardy in south Florida. Leaves are distinct. Here is a borrowed picture:

Kassaundra i cant believe those grow as wildflowers! They look so exotic! Love the flower pics, both wild and greenhouse ones! The blue jay and cardinals are personal favs too!

I know, I was blown away when I first saw them too. They grow on the sides of roads and ditches and pastures all over my area.
