Around here those flowers usually come with Japanese Beetles rather than bees. I much prefer your bee. Look at her! She is certainly doing her job well.
Yep the Japanese beetles were killer on my roses, and those flowers. One day you see gorgeous blooms, the next morning NOTHING left, of either . I knew they were coming but the bees were so enjoying the blooms I just didn't have the heart to seven dust the plants.
I know what you mean. I have cut my mallow down rather than dust it with Sevin to get rid of the JBs. Perhaps I should just accept them as a trap plant, but I have declared WAR against these beasts so I "march to the sea" rather than leave them to their supplies.
