I had to counterbalance everyone's blooming beauties with some more SNOW! Haha, sorry to remind you all it is still winter. I took these yesterday while out birding. All these pics are about 30-45 min. south of my house.

Female common goldeneye, I scared the poo out of her accidentally because I snuck down to the edge of the river while she was underwater. I hate to flush birds but I didn't know she was there!

I've had ginger in my garden for years but I can't remember it ever blooming. I wonder why?
