That's a special Annabelle. A friend gave me a piece of her grandmother's treasured bush several years ago. Her bush was on a fence line and the next year her neighbor killed her bush but two years later I was able to give a division back to her. 'Grandma's' bush is now as big as mine.

That's an unexpected benefit of sharing treasured plants with friends. If something happens to the original hopefully someone has a survivor.

Carol, I love, love, love hollyhocks. Up to now, I haven't been successful at growing them. Soon I hope to have the perfect place and intend to have them growing here forever after. No farmyard should be without them.
