There is no heat in it. But it is open to the rest of the house. Before it was complete it never froze, just from heavy insulation, thick concrete floor. and facing directly south. On a sunny day in winter it can get over 80. The spring it is ridiculous.. We have a wood stove in the adjoining room that we rarely use. With just the 2 of us the woodstove in the great room keeps us warm.The kids rooms needs the extra heat when they were at home. I used to fire up the other stove for a week or 2 in the early spring and close the room off so the heat went in the greenhouse. With bottom heat I know longer seem to need to. The greenhouse has served me very well.
