An absolutely super picture, @Carol Dee !

It's so difficult to capture a photograph of nearly any bird. They are so flighty! Give them (& yourself ;)) just a second or two, and they are gone. Proper angle, appropriate background, lighting?? Those important concerns are waaay down the list of priorities below simply capturing an image. Well done!

Oh, @Carol Dee , I have a 35mm camera. Bought it with the intention of taking pictures on my birdwatching expeditions, many years ago.

Birds made me realize that "living in the moment" was different for different creatures. Capturing a photo would give me a moment (several) to better appreciate the birds.

Oh, it was so difficult! When I discovered that insect closeups were my most common subjects, I put the camera away.
