I have been growing this pineapple clone since around 1998. Every year I get at least 1 to eat, sometime more. It has been outdoors since spring and is starting to ripen and is turning yellow. Only once did I let it ripen fully outdoors and a wild animal took a big chunk out of it on the day I was planning to eat it. It has some more ripening to go so I brought it into my greenhouse today. Once my house fills with the smell of sweet pineapple it will be ready.

Our 1st pineapple is looking like this, a little bigger than a softball.
