I have lost track as to how many Amaryllis bulbs I have. More than half, I hybridized for fun , many years ago. I repotted them all last summer and the huge bulbs and huge blooms are beginning to reward me. It will be zero outside tonight. The cold air and wind have been keeping me indoors. The color sure brightens January.

Around here we have a thing called naimkeag (nom-keg)! It is basically a winter lights show. These are the pictures I took of there.

1)we where driving in the car and I was bored so I took this picture out the windshield. It turned out great!
2,3,4)I was standing outside with my uncle who is a professional photographer and he said “I bet you can’t take a good photo just standing right here” so I took 3 pictures and they turned out ok.
5,6)I was in the woods on my property and I saw an opportunity for an ok photo so I took it.
7)my back field at noon on a random day when I was walking to go see my neighbor
8,9)I was photographing the snow in the dark.
10)I asked my sheep to be photogenic and this is what I got.
