Here are some pictures of my garden. It's small, but I LOVED this new adventure. There is so much knowledge to soak up on this site.

I know this is dark, but this is my homemade gate that I'm very proud of. I made it all by myself and my husband put the hinges on for me for mothers day.

peeps, I'm quite impressed with your little garden! It has that "cute garden" look I'm so trying to get myself. Your gate is WONDERFUL and so unique!!! Congratulations!!!

Have you used the topsey turvey buckets before? Just wonderful!

Dawn, Thanks for the compliments. This is the first time growing tomatoes upside-down. I get free buckets from work and I drilled a hole in the bottom with the special drill bit my husband uses to cut holes in doors for the door locks. I used week fabric in the bottom of the bucket to hold the dirt in and just cut a slit in it to thread the plant through. I put in romas as this is what my local plant man told me worked well in his last year. I've always wanted to try it.

I have cucumbers, pole beans, zucchini, lettuce, radish, straight neck squash, 6 different types of tomatoes, beets, green bell pepper, orange bell pepper, jalapeno, onion, water melon, cantaloupe, and green beans. I have 7 small tomatoes on my one and only early girl tomato plant. I have squash and zucchini blooms along with jalapeno and bell pepper blooms. I have several of my tomato plants that have blooms. I just can't wait for that first tomato, yummy.

Hangingwiththepeep. Your garden looks very nice and not so small. It looks like you have plenty of room to expand next year if you want to.

The gate looks very impressive! I'm one of those "helpless" females" when it comes to building anything. Good thing I have a hubby around for that.

It's amazing how much you can grow in a small garden. I probably have about the same size or maybe alittle less than you and also have quite a bit planted.

Gardening is so much fun and yes there is a wealth of information and advise here. People are so willing to help you.

It's beautiful! Really nice job, you should be proud. Isn't it amazing how much food you can grow in a small well maintained space with a concentration of good soil?!

I love raised beds. Although we have large market garden areas, I remain partial to our raised bed garden.

Your gardens look wonderful! I really love that gate!! I think the entrance to the garden is so important. That looks like it will keep unwanted critters out, but looks welcoming at the same time. Nice job! I would have to hang a wreath on it (but I can't help myself!)
