Planting Fruit Trees

it is so interesting to see on tv shows that are planting trees that they usually throw in some sort of slow release fertilizers 'just to help it grow and get a start!'

good thing i'm researching stuff right now because if i trusted their advise the tree wouldn't survive the windstorms and winter weather we can get here.
